  1. This mentions the “annotated timeline chart” which was, in January 2013, Flash-based. Google now recommends using the “annotation chart” https://developers.google.com/chart/interactive/docs/gallery/annotationchart#overview based strictly on SVG/VML. However this does say above that “charts are created by HTML5/SVG” so it’s not clear which ones are supported by this plugin which has not been updated apparently for > 2 years.

    Anyone using it care to comment on whether someone starting now should be using this, or possibly instead
