1) Enable or disable WordPress automatic updates: You have the option to enable or disable WordPress automatic updates. Also, you can control which item needs to be automatically updated. You can also control auto update of WordPress core, enable or disable automatic email notifications for updates, add email address for automatic email notifications for updates and disable WordPress automatic updates notification for different types of users in your blog.

2) Enable shortcodes for widgets: You can enable shortcodes for widgets so that shortcodes will also work in widgets of your site.

3) Disable Website field from comments forms: If you are using the default WordPress comments from then, it has a website field and because of this we get most of the spam comments. You have the option to completely remove Website field from the comments forms and then commentators will not be able to add their website address in comments.

4) Disable XML-RPC: You have the option to disable the remote procedure call, XML-RPC.

9) Disable self pingbacks or trackbacks: Sometimes WordPress creates self pingbacks and trackbacks when you link your own articles in you blog. By using this feature you can disable self pingbacks or trackbacks.

12) Disable Auto links in comments: When a user adds a link or URL in the comments, it is made clickable by WordPress default. This feature is known as Auto links. However, you have the option to disable this feature.

13) Remove items in WordPress admin bar: By using this feature you can remove items from WordPress admin bar to be displayed on the backend or on the frontend. You can configure both frontend and backend items.

14) Disable WordPress admin bar on frontend: You also have the option to disable WordPress admin bar on frontend.

15) Disable WordPress dashboard widgets: You can disable the default widgets in the WordPress dashboard.

16) Add more columns in users and comments section: By using this feature you can add more columns in users section and comments section.

17) Add ID column for post types section and taxonomies section: You have the option to add ID column for post types section and taxonomies section.

18) Add thumbnails column and order column for post types section: You have the option to add thumbnails column and order column for post types section.

19) Disable Theme editor and Plugin editor: You can disable the Theme editor and Plugin editor for your site. You can find the Theme editor at: Appearance –> Editor and Plugin editor at: Plugins –> Editor.

20) Hide WordPress version in footer: You have the option to hide WordPress version which is displayed in the footer of the admin section.

21) Edit slug for author archive URL and search results URL: You have the option to edit slug for author archive URL and search results URL. You can use any slug as per your requirements.

22) Change p prefix for posts and pages short URL: By default WordPress uses p prefix for posts and pages short URL. You can change the p prefix to any prefix as per your choice.

23) Edit compression quality value for jpeg images: You can apply jpeg compression to images so that posts and pages will load fast in your blog. You have the option to select the value of compression quality from 0 to 100.

24) Enable clean captions for images: This WordPress plugin adds clean captions for images which are better than the WordPress default. You can enable or disable this feature.

25) Remove default inline style for gallery: For a gallery, WordPress adds default inline style. However, you can remove it from the plugin settings page.

26) Edit auto save time: When you are editing a post or a page in your WordPress blog it is auto saved. By using this feature you can change the auto save time for posts and pages. You can add auto save time in seconds. For Example, if you set auto save time to 30 seconds then, posts or pages will be saved every 30 seconds.

27) Disable auto save of posts and pages: You also have the option to disable auto save of posts and pages entirely.

28) Set up number of post revisions to be saved: You can set up the number of post revisions which have to be saved for posts.

30) Set up empty trash time: You can set up the time after which items in trash will be deleted permanently.

31) Disable empty trash feature: You can disable automatic deletion of posts from the Trash.

32) Disable auto delete for drafts: From the plugin settings page you can disable auto delete for drafts in your blog.

33) Add page excerpts: WordPress doesn’t have excerpts for pages. However, by using this feature, you can add excerpts for pages too.

34) Edit post excerpt length: WordPress allows only 55 words for post excerpt. However, by using this feature, you can edit post excerpt length.

35) Set up draft page as parent before publishing: In WordPress, by default, you can’t set up draft page as parent before publishing. However, by using this feature, you can set up draft page as parent before publishing it.

36) Disable Previous post and Next post links in header: By using this feature you can disable Previous post and Next post links in header for posts.
