Progress Bar To Show Reading Time For Posts In WordPress
This post is about a WordPress plugin which can be used to display estimated reading time for posts in your WordPress blog using progress bar and countdown timer. When a reader scrolls your post they can see the progress bar for the remaining content and a countdown timer which displays estimated time to read this post in minutes. From the plugin settings section you can enable or disable progress bar and countdown timer. You have the option to set up words read per minute, change progress bar color and add progress bar and countdown timer for post types.

Here are the features of this WordPress plugin:

1) Add progress bar to show estimated reading time: This WordPress plugin adds a progress bar which is displayed when readers scroll your post. It is useful to display estimated reading time. You have the option to enable or disable progress bar as per your requirements.

2) Add countdown timer to show estimated reading time: This WordPress plugin also adds a countdown timer which is displayed when readers scroll your post. Countdown timer displays the estimated reading time remaining for the post. You have the option to enable or disable countdown timer as per your requirements.

3) Set up words read per minute: From the plugin settings page you can set up words read per minute for this WordPress plugin.

4) Set up progress bar color: Default progress bar color for this plugin is red. However, from the plugin settings page you have the option to change the progress bar color.

5) Add progress bar and countdown timer for post types: From the plugin settings page you can enable or disable the progress bar and countdown timer for homepage, single post, pages and archive pages.
